Yes......... finally it is coming. Italian two-wheeler king plans to bring the premium edition of their key player in new look, new style and also with new technology. That is one and only Vespa 946. The Vespa 946 name comes from the date the company started making scooters, which is 1946. The new Vespa 946 shows the future design style of the Vespa with assaulting mode including with a floating seat. By introducing this 946 Vespa is trying to make a luxury brand name in Scooter just like the motorbike giants Ducati, Harley Davidson etc. Vespa introduced this premium Scooter for the premium customers…because a limited run of the 2013 Vespa 946 collection, named “Ricordo Italino”, in either black or white color will be available until the end of this year.

Engine Details:




Vespa 946 is propelled by two versions 125 cc engine  and 150 cc engine which are single-cylinder air-cooled units employing 3-valves and fuel injection. The 125cc motor produces 11.7 HP of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. For the 150 cc Engine the claimed output is 13 hp (9.7 kW) at 12.6 torque. These engines are designed to run in low sound mode and less emissions. The modern fuel injection system works with three way catalytic converter to reduce the emissions by 30 percent than normal! Electronic injection, three-valve distribution, reduced friction and improved fluid dynamics sharply reduce consumption and emissions, establishing a new benchmark over and beyond current regulations.

Design Details:




Vespa 946 does sticking with some of their traditions. From the first stitching on the leather handle grips to the final polish, everything is done by hand, with the same care as a couturier for his creations. From the press shop to the tumble finishing, the attention and passion is that of an artist’s atelier. The monocoque body doubles as the frame, but instead of traditional full body all –steel construction, it integrates aluminum side plates, handle bars, fenders, seat unit to reduce the weight. It increases the efficiency and easy ride to the 946. Wheel base is longer than the current long-body models. Sophisticated handle bars with extremely sleek lines and small size with full LED head lights with thermal dissipation system. Rear stop lights  are in round shape and also with LED lights. Front indicators are small and rear indicators are below the body with yellow bulbs. Seat is cantilever saddle which is hinged on die cast aluminum support. Personalized key with extractable desmo steel. Two Rear view mirror is chromed by in edited design. 

Safety

The front and rear disc brakes give more stability to braking system. The Vespa 946 has ABS braking and ASR traction control. Either way, the investment it took to develop this new motor means that it must be used in a volume product and Piaggio is adding TC and ABS to literally every other bike it makes, so it’s logical those safety aids will make it to other Vespas too.
The Digital LCD Speedometer gives the sporty look and it comprises of fuel indicator, battery indicator etc.

Ducati 1098 S : The Italian Rocket

Italy... birthplace of  famous super bikes like Ducati, Aprilia... Japan..birthplace of Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki ...... We cant imagine about super bikes without considering  the super bikes given by these brands.... In this giants a super bike made an attention to the world in power and beauty that is "Ducati 1098 S" supermodel bike.

Design



1098 S is the upgraded model of Ducati's famous super bike model 1098 . That means there is more additions for best performance and handling. Ducati 1098 S was designed on the basis of  one of the famous Ducati bike in 90's , Ducati 916, Single side swing arms and double exhaust are adjusted below the seat and the high tail sections makes the Ducati 1098 S different from other super bikes.




Instead  of other biked super bikes design of Ducati 1098 S is some what modest. Front air vent with head lamps is its main attraction. Front fender is made up of carbon fibre. A large visor above the head light gives extra sporty look. Rear view mirrors with turn indicators are attached to the side so of the visor. Engines are covered with side fairing with air cooled vents. A red trellis steel frame is projected between the 1 litre tank and side fairings. For better look the twin exhaust pipes are arranged below tail end of seat and also it has wide wheels.

High performance 43 mm fully adjustable front fork and 46 PRC mono shock absorber of Swedish performance kit production company Ohlin, Steering damper is of low weight, Marchesini Wheels, SBK carbon fibre exhaust system, Rizoma's crash protector clutch, front brake lever. 17 mode adjustment foot peg, open clutch cover, Ducati corse sleeper clutch are the extra fittings provided by the company for extra comfort.

Engine/ Ride

Ducati 1098 S is powered by 1099 cc V twin cylinder engine. Maximum power is 160 bhp at 9750 rpm. torque is 123 Nm /at 8000 rpm. Wide seat gives extra comfort to the rider. Ignition slot is just above the fuel tank. Digital cluster is almost same as of common racing bikes. Speedometer, engine rpm, trip meter, clock, temperature, battery charge, service indicators etc are included in the cluster. 

Ducati Data Analyzer ( DDA)


There is special addition in Ducati 1098 S is a Ducati Data Analyser (DDA). this is fitted for the analyzing and storing the distance, time for completion of lap, engine rpm, acceleration etc to the computer via USB. In Ducati 1098 S DDA is a standard fitting.

Road grip of the tires by the Pirelli dragon Super corse  is amazing. Weightless trelies tube type frame gives much stability to Ducati 1098 S. Front brake is from Brembo's 4 piston caliper 30 mm double brake and at rear two piston caliper single brake.

NINJA 300: King Returns.................





Ninja 300 arrived with some extra power and profile. The Ninja 300 arrived as the substitute for the prevailing edition Ninja 250.Ninja fans are stunned with the Kawasaki's new edition of Ninja 300, because they expected the customized return of their dearest model Ninja 250.


Just like the Ninja Z10-R beautiful head lamps, visors and large fairing winds gives more sporty look to the new Ninja 300. Front indicators are moved to the side cowls. Multi Spoke allot wheels, Large silencer with heat guard, console...etc...are novelties of new Ninja 300

Ninja 300 is powered with 296 cc 4 stroke liquid cooled parallel twin engine. The company claims that the digital fuel injection gives better throttle response and mileage  to Ninja 300. Power performance of Ninja 300 is 39 bhp @ 11000 rpm. 6 speed gear transmission. Just like the other big sports bikes Ninja 300 have slipper clutch system.




Ninja 300 is toiled in a diamond shaped steel frame. 37 mm telescopic suspension is in front wheels and mono shock at rear wheels. Disc brakes 290 mm and a 220 mm  are attached respectively at the front and rear sides.ABS is included as the option.

The expected price of the Ninja 300 might be less than  $5770 ( Rs. 300000)
