New Bugatti Veyron @ 1600 bhp

Do you think that 1183 bhp Bugatti Veyron was fast, nope...Bugatti engineers are not satisfied with current King status of Bugatti. The mind blowing details about next generation Veyron.

According to the report on British Publication Auto Express, Bugatti engineers are working eagerly to produce a totally insane 1600 bhp version of Bugatti instead of 1183 bhp Veyron. It will be faster than the previous one, which is the current fastest car in the world.

The model is said is said to have raised the stakes with a top speed of around 290 mph (464 kmph) and it can reach 0 - 100 kph in just "1.8 seconds" that is in just a blink of eye...!!!!. The new car will also be lighter by around 250 kg increasing the power-to-weight ratio figure.

A number engineering techniques are used for the reduction in the weight of the new one. One of the primary area that the company gave much concentration is in wheels, which is constructed entirely from carbon fibre.

Power is said to come from massive W16 quad turbo engine, which is the same one used in the previous model and the change is the increment of capacity from 8 litres to 9.5 litres. an electric motor is also used for the boost up the power output to 1600 bhp. They also have a plan to built a hybrid version.

“We are working on the next super-sports car. The big challenge will be reducing weight – we are looking at some incredible technologies, such as wheels made entirely from carbon fibre. We’re considering hybrids, too” said Bugatti’s chief vehicle engineer Jens

Schulenburg to AutoExpress.
